KZN Cycling is proud to announce the launch of the brand-new KZN Cycling Schools Road Series, presented by aQuellé! This exciting initiative brings together young cyclists from across the province, giving schools and learners the opportunity to compete in a structured series of road races designed to showcase speed, skill, spirit, and strength. The series consists of four races and a grand final, with each event hosted in different regions of KwaZulu-Natal. Riders will experience a variety of courses and challenges, helping them grow both competitively and personally while fostering a love for the sport. Race Calendar: Race 1: October 2025 – Biggarsberg Road Challenge Race 2: November 2025 – Durban M13 Cycle Challenge Race 3: February 2026 – Ugu Community Classic Race 4: March 2026 – Richards Bay Cycle Challenge Final: 19 April 2026 – aQuellé Tour Durban The series promises thrilling racing, school pride, and a fantastic platform for young talent to shine. Get Ready for the 2025 WOA IQembu Cycle Challenge – Durban’s Premier Team Ride! We’re thrilled to announce that the WOA IQembu Cycle Challenge is back and bigger than ever in 2025! Mark your calendars for Sunday, 31 August 2025 – Durban is the place to be for an unforgettable day of team spirit, fast-paced racing, and great value. Why This is The Cycle Challenge to Enter: The IQembu Cycle Challenge has earned a reputation as one of the best value-for-money events in South Africa. Your entry includes an awesome goodie bag – featuring custom Sox worth R150 – and that’s just one of the perks! Whether you’re chasing a podium or just out to enjoy the ride with friends, there’s a team category for you. Team Categories: 100km: Teams of 5 to 10 riders 60km: Teams of 4 to 6 riders 40km: Teams of 3 to 4 riders Riding solo? No problem! 2024 Sappi Scottburgh MTB & Trail Run Weekend
The 2024 Sappi Scottburgh MTB & Trail Run Weekend will take place on Sunday 22 September 2024. For the first time the start/finish will be held at Crocworld just north of the town of Scottburgh. The event includes both Trail Running and MTB Events. The Trail Running events which start at 7am comprises of 5km and 12km routes, with the MTB events starting at 8.30am have 12km, 20km and 45km routes. We would like to thank all the landowners who have graciously given us permission to use their picturesque properties on the KZN South Coast.Pre Entries are open on www.wardevents.co.za and www.myactive.co.za The first 200 pre-entries will receive a race garment and goodie bag. Pre-Entries will close on Wednesday 18 September at 8pm.
