Golden Delight Cycle Challenge

The Golden Delight Cycle Challenge – last chance to cycle race in KZN 2024

The 2nd annual Golden Delight Cycle Challenge takes place in Durban on December the 1st with full road closure on the M4 Northbound lane. A huge success story in 2023 as a new event on the KZN Cycling Calendar, the cycle challenge is back once again on probably the flattest and fastest cycle race course available in South Africa

This year the race is open to individuals over the 20km, 40km, 60km and 80km distances. The route being 20km laps that cyclists will complete multiple times. We will limit numbers to the first 500 cyclists only to ensure the safety of all when taking into account the logistics of the race course on the day.

We then also have the premier event of the day – the 100km TEAM TIME TRIAL CHALLENGE which is open to teams of up to 10 riders. They will complete 5 laps on race day. this TTT is growing into what is South Africa’s premier team time trial event

The race starts at 6am sharp (before the heat gets to you) and finishes at 10:30am.

We have kept the entry fee low with all entrants getting a free pair of quality custom SOX in their goodie bags along with a finishers medal and post-race recovery drinks

ENTRIES are taking place on online at the following link
