RE: M4 RUTH FIRST HIGHWAY
Good people of KZN
It has been brought to my attention that cyclists are using the section of M4 Ruth First Highway that we have agreed is out of bounds to cyclists.
The out of bounds section of road runs, Durban side – M17 – Sandile Thuse Rd (Argyle Road) to Umhlanga side – M12 / Lighthouse Road intersection.
Please remember this agreement arrived in the interest of protecting cyclist safety. This section of road experiences high vehicle traffic volume and has been the site of numerous cycling related accidents and fatalities. In the interest of spending more quality time with you on the bike – please remember and bide by this agreement.
