DESCRIPTION:Venue: CrocWorld\, Scottburgh \nEntries on www.myactive.co.za \n \nThe 2024 Sappi Scottburgh MTB & Trail Run Weekend will take place on Sunday 22 September 2024. For the first time the start/finish will be held at Crocworld just north of the town of Scottburgh. The event includes both Trail Running and MTB Events. The Trail Running events which start at 7am comprises of 5km and 12km routes\, with the MTB events starting at 8.30am have 12km\, 20km and 45km routes. We would like to thank all the landowners who have graciously given us permission to use their picturesque properties on the KZN South Coast.\nPre Entries are open on www.wardevents.co.za and www.myactive.co.za The first 200 pre-entries will receive a race garment and goodie bag. Pre-Entries will close on Wednesday 18 September at 8pm. DESCRIPTION:Venue: Moses Mabhida Stadium \nEntries on www.myactive.co.za \n  \nThe 2024 RECLAM IQWEMBU CYCLE CHALLENGE will be open to both TEAMS and INDIVIDUALS \n\nThe cycle race will take place on the M4 Freeway in Durban with Full Road Closure\nThe Race will start at 7am and the cut-off will be at 11:00 (4hrs)\nThe Start and Finish will take place next to the Kings Park Swimming Pool (Promenade directly opposite to the Moses Mabhida Stadium)\nRegistration will take place on Saturday 31st August at CYCLELAB Cornubia 10am – 3pm\nRace Entry Cut off will be Monday August 25th at midnight\n\n  \n\nCyclists can enter the TEAM EVENT which comprises\n\n– Teams of 8 persons to enter the 80km (Men/Ladies/Mixed Teams) (4 to finish to claim a result – if mixed team – at least 1 must be a lady \n– Teams of 4 persons to enter the 40km (Men/Ladies/Mixed Teams) (3 to finish to claim a result – if mixed team – at least 1 must be a lady) \n– Teams of 2 persons to enter the 20km (Men/Ladies/Mixed Teams) (2 to finish to claim a result – if mixed team – 1 male 1 female) \n  \n\nCyclists can enter the EVENT as an individual (the event will limited to x amount of individuals as this is primarily a team event – first come first serve\n\n– Individuals can enter the 80km or 40km or 20km \n\nTT Bikes – Road Bikes – Mountain Bikes – Gravel Bikes are allowed for the TEAM EVENTS\nNo TT bikes are bars allowed for the individual event (e-bikes are allowed)\nThere will be 1 water point on the route situated about 400m from the start/finish area\nHere TEAMS may also second their riders on the route in the demarcated Team Area\nThe Route is multiple laps of 20km (10km out towards La Lucia – u-turn and then head back towards Durban on the closed to traffic M4)\nSTART TIME is 7am with teams going off first with individuals to follow next (this info to be relayed once registration is complete and final race details are released – start times will be up on www.finishtime.co.za\nEach rider entered will received a complimentary pair of custom sox as well as a finish medal at the end\nPrizes\, medals and trophies to be awarded to the top place finishers\n\nFor more info email events@triathlonplussa.co.za \nENTER HERE \nhttps://myactive.cc/iQwembu2024 \n  \nTEAM ENTRY RULES \nTeam of 8 MEN \n– At least 5 of the team have to cross the line together – if a team-mate drops off – they get given the same time but cannot re-join the team at a later stage \n– those Team mates that drop off will be given the same finish-time as their team-mates \nTeam of 8 Woman \n– Same rules applies to the ladies – 5 riders must finish \nMixed Team of 8 \n– the Team must include at least 2 ladies \n– of the 5 that cross the line together – at least 1 must be a woman \nTeam of 4 Men \n– 3 to finish in this event \nTeam of 4 Woman \n– 3 to finish in this event \nMixed Team of 4 \n– at least 1 of the 4 entries is a lady \n– of the 3 that finish – 1 has to be a lady \nTeam of 2 man – 2 man and mixed (1 lady 1 gent) both have to finish the race to claim a finish time \nIndividuals will start once the teams have set of \nTeam of 8 first – Teams of 4 second – Teams of 2 third then the remaining individuals \n  \n
